Rebecca O’Kray-Murphy is an associate at Davis & Wojcik, APLC.
Ms. O’Kray-Murphy’s education includes a bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan and a juris doctorate from Wayne State University where she was the co-chair of the Student Trial Advocacy Program. As a student, she volunteered at the Free Legal Aid Clinic and served as a student research attorney with the Student Appellate Program.
Ms. Murphy is licensed to practice law in California, Arizona, and Michigan and has experience representing clients in a board range of matters, including civil proceedings, criminal cases, due process proceedings, domestic violence cases, and others. Ms. Murphy has experience teaching several undergraduate and graduate level university courses, including: Business Law and Ethics; Juvenile Delinquency and Detention; Justice Studies; Power, Politics and Government; Composition; Communications; and others.
Ms. Murphy relocated to California in 2015. She is married to her husband, Shannon, and is a proud parent of two sons and a daughter. In her free time, Ms. Murphy enjoys vegan cooking. Ms. Murphy serves as an Editor for Celebration Bar Review and volunteers assisting low income clients at DACA renewal clinics through the Jewish Family Legal Services. She participates in the political process as a Riverside County Election Officer. Ms. Murphy volunteers with the Saint Martha Youth Ministry in Murrieta and is active with the Great Oak High School PTSA in Temecula. She and her husband are Stephen Ministry Leaders.
